We all care about the pain, suffering and despair in so many families around the world. And we can help through coaching.
Even if you have already graduated or completed another coaching course, you will find that the Basic Skills Coaching track, based on the 11 ICF Core Competencies, will amplify your family coaching impact. It will also help you to carefully craft your own unique coaching voice, as well as prepare you for ICF Certification, if you choose.
I've been working as a contracted provider for the State of WA since June last year- using all of my coaching skills - working with families. Whew! It's amazing and interesting and has provided me with the income to transition out of my previous career!

2009 PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This course is designed as a comprehensive coach training experience, organized around each group of students progressing together as a learning cohort. The goal of the Advanced Coaching Course is to equip professionals with a powerful coaching skill set based on the book, The Parent as Coach Approach with the Seven Ways to Coach, together with the Core Competencies from the International Coach Federation, Advanced Coaching tools based in ontological philosophies, powerful ICF certified Mentor Coaching, and uncommon business tools for bringing coaching to a new market. The Family Coach Training Coaching Approach can be utilized in a variety of settings, including coaching individuals and groups, leading workshops, teaching classes, and speaking at schools and community centers. And this is just the beginning- endless educational and workplace applications exist.
Here is what one current student says about our trainer and mentor coach, Tracy Tresidder:
I have had mentors over the years for different areas in my life. I have never, however, had a mentor like Tracy Tresidder, my mentor coach. Tracy gave me the confidence to enhance my strengths as a coach and to reach higher and delve deeper than ever before. Tracy helped me target my weaker areas as well, and encouraged me to examine them, and forward my actions on behalf of my clients. Under Tracy's tutelage, I learned so much about myself that has helped me and will continue to help me in both in my professional and personal life. Her sensitivity and unique perspective as an active member of the ICF organization helps me to zero in on what is important and how to help my clients. This help comes in the shape of meaningful questions and viewpoints, and a deep level of understanding my clients and their needs. Tracy paved the way for my journey toward being the best coach I can be, and for this gift I am forever grateful!
